During the summer, you can book the igloos to also function as boats. An eco-friendly electric motor propels the Aurorahut igloo to your desired location, whether for scenic viewing or trying your luck at fishing from the igloo boat’s terrace dock.
In the winter, ice fishing is possible through the ice hole that opens from the warmth of the indoor space.
Each Aurorahut igloo is meticulously designed down to the smallest detail, providing guests with all necessary amenities. The cabins are fully equipped and include compact kitchen facilities, a toilet, and a comfortable double bed. Guests also have access to showers in the main building.
Carefully chosen interior elements create an atmosphere that combines traditional archipelago culture with modern Scandinavian design.
Aurorahut Igloo Porvoo also offers a variety of activities for its guests. You can relax on the terrace, enjoy the sea views, fish in nearby waters, or explore the surrounding islands by kayak or navigate the local waters with the igloo’s own electric motor, which you can rent from the Elämyspoukama rental shop. You can also rent e-fatbikes to explore Porvoo’s old town and the surrounding area in both summer and winter.
