WORLD SAUNA DAY – Event at Poukama 25 October 2025

Experience the magic of the Finnish sauna in a unique event in the Porvoo archipelago.

On Saturday, 25 October, from 10 am to 4 pm, Poukama’s saunas, hot tubs and winter swimming spot invite you to relax, refresh and connect with others.

Guided by a sauna master, this ritual introduces you to the world of sauna and steam, offering a sensory-rich piece of Finnish cultural heritage.

The beach saunas now feature brand new stoves provided by our partner IKI-KIUAS.

The Saunapaketti Pro package includes the Saunamarski Pro tent, which has been specially developed for sauna enthusiasts who are always on the move.

An excellent choice when using the sauna while boating, on wilderness trips, or even on hunting trips.

Take a dip in the sea
A swimming spot is available for sauna guests at Poukama’s main pier.

Sauna sessions
There are three sauna sessions during the event, each with 40 guest spots:

• Session 10:00–12:00
• Session 12:00–14:00
• Session 14:00–16:00

• Adults €16
• Children 7–15 years €7
• Children under 7 free when accompanied by an adult (min. 18 yrs)

Note: Maximum 2 children’s tickets per adult.

Upon arrival, please check in at the reception. Kindly leave the sauna area when your session ends.

Remember to bring: swimsuit, towel and seat cover.

At the reception you’ll find Poukama Shop, offering products related to sauna and winter swimming, natural cosmetics, and local handicrafts.

Savory & sweet treats to complete the day
During the event, you can purchase both sweet and savory treats to enjoy alongside your relaxing day. Sausages are also available for self-grilling at Poukama’s campfire hut.
